Wounded Mother - College Movies Part Deux

Mum is mortally wounded by the absence of her and Dad's cameo in The Birth. So, here it is - that dream sequence!! In fairness the dream sequences were the most interesting thing in the film, shot slo-mo on Super8 film, with a suitable 'odd' soundtrack by myself.

This was filmed at an abandoned house in Wansford, a large historic village near us. The building was quite spectacular, constructed entirely of wood on the edge of some woodland. I would love to know its history - unfortunately, its long since been pulled down. It was a hazard even when we were filming there.

College Movies

Its a blazing hot day today, so by rights I should be outside, instead of typing on here....

Anyway, I was going through some prehistoric screencaps on the PC today and found some old shots from some of my college movies. Thought I'd share them here. First up is Phlid, a short animation peice set to a track by Aphex Twin. It basically involved an animated roasted chicken sitting in an contrivance that results in its repeated 'violation' and ultimate disintegration. Then there was The Almighty Offspring, a short about the decendant of Christ, over a decade before anyone had heard of Dan Brown. Finally The Birth a supernatural thriller written by Barry, that one day, we may remake - thats the same actor playing two parts in that shot - took me ages to do in the edit suite!!
